Black RoadBlood Records Declares Bankruptcy; Sirens of Sacrifice IP Transferred to Ghost Riff Riders in Settlement

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[Date: February 14, 2024] – It is with profound regret that Black RoadBlood Records officially announces its declaration of bankruptcy, effective immediately. This decision comes after a thorough review of the company’s financial standing and operational viability following recent unforeseen events.

As part of the bankruptcy proceedings and an undisclosed legal settlement for breach of contract, Black RoadBlood Records has legally signed over all intellectual property rights pertaining to Sirens of Sacrifice’s music catalog, trademarks, and associated assets (IP et al) to the members of Ghost Riff Riders. This transfer includes all past and future creative works under the Sirens of Sacrifice name.

Ryder Mason, frontman for Ghost Riff Riders, commented on the settlement: “This is a bittersweet moment, to say the least. While the circumstances are unfortunate for everyone involved, we intend to use this settlement as a foundation to build something positive and impactful for the independent music community. My vision is to create an indie music recording center – a place where struggling bands can find the resources, mentorship, and creative space to truly become awesome.”

Mason confirmed that the proposed recording center will likely be based in the vibrant Dallas, Texas area. He has already begun the active search for suitable properties to convert into a state-of-the-art sound studio, designed to foster talent and provide opportunities for emerging artists.

Black RoadBlood Records extends its gratitude to all artists, employees, partners, and fans who have supported the label throughout its history. We wish Ryder Mason and the members of Ghost Riff Riders the very best in their ambitious new endeavor.

Further details regarding the bankruptcy proceedings will be handled by the appointed legal representatives.
